The two largest pyramids are those of father and son. The biggest on the right is the Great Pyramid of Cheops and on the left the Pyramid of Chephren with its limestone cap still in tact. The smaller ones in the foreground are the Queens´ Pyramids. The two pyramids are of almost identical dimensions, but Chephren purposely built his slightly smaller in order to honor his father Cheops. As you can see camel rides are quite popular (I took one too) but be warned---the hawkers, stall holders, souvenir sellers, and horse, donkey and camel owners will do their very best to seperate you from as many Egyptian pounds as they can. Some through legitimate business dealings and some not!
