While the temples are still awe inspiring today with all of the intricate hieroglyphic carvings and lotus or papyrus topped columns they are still but a shadow of their former glory. Now and then you catch a glimpse of the resplendent colors that once adorned the walls and ceilings, these pictured being over 2500 years old!
